Description of 1985 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS Super Sport

This classic car has a strong motor and trans. It runs and drives great. If you want a perfect car you will need to do a frame off restoration otherwise get in and drive it just the way it is. This a 1985 Monte Carlo SS super sport. It has the original rebuilt 5 liter. 305 V8 engine in it. Engine and transmission were rebuilt about a couple of years ago. It is very fast but it still gets good gas mileage due to the light body. It has a posi traction rear. The odometer says 98k but I am sure it is 198k. Everything has been serviced or replaced on this car from the engine to the rear end . The car has a couple of rust areas on each lower quarter. they are easy repairs. See picks. It needs drivers side door hinge pins causing the door to drop down an inch. The drivers side power window switch does not work because of the switch. I have the new switch but it needs to be installed. The car was repainted a while back. the paint job is ok but it is definitely not a show car. the car is in good shape but it not perfect. This is a very fast car. I have at least a hundred repair receipts. We drive car as is but if you want a perfect it will need a frame off restoration due to rust. The car is sold as is. where it is.
