This Street Resto-Mod is a custom built 1971 Chevy Nova SS Tribute built by Glory Days Auto Restoration in Vancouver. WA. The restoration was completed 11-1-14 and has about 650 miles on it since rebuild. so all the quirks of a build are dialed in. It's a full sub-frame off rotisserie restoration. It took 1 year to complete and over 920 hours. There is over $27K in parts alone not including paint/labor that runs $65 per hour (that’s 60k in labor). So 27K + 60K in labor 91K total. You're getting a fully documented build with full excel sheet on build. documented hours with dates and job completed. a thumb drive of over 100 photos. and ALL RECIEPTS. The body was stripped down to bare metal and it had very minimal metal/rust issues which is why we selected this car. The body was treated with Epoxy Sealer before bodywork began. The bodywork was completed and primed then blocked 4 times to get the lines perfect with high build Sherwin Williams primer. We then sealed it and applied 3-4 coats of Sherwin Williams Ultra 7000 Nissan Daytona Blue basecoat and 3 coats of Sherwin Williams 950 Premium Clear coat. This is the most beautiful blue paint jobs I’ve ever seen! The pearl is amazing and the paint job is show quality. The car was wet-sanded with 1500/2000 grit and polished to a pristine shine. All new chrome. lights/lenses. original wiring great condition. all lights electrical works perfect. No expense was spared on this build as you can see. Engine – 4 Bolt Main 355 CI Street Engine Build. Must run 92+ Octane & Valvoline Racing 20W50 Oil. Short block: bored . 030 over. decked . 005 to ensure flat mating surface. magnafluxed & hot tanked. new cleveite cam bearings. pioneer freeze plugs. Diamond cut forged flat top pistons skirt coating by speed pro. mahle rings. cleveite rod/main bearings. refurbished 5. 7 Chevy rods with new bolts. reground 10/10 crank then polished & champhered. Melling high-volume oil pump & pickup. moroso O/P stud. melling steel shaft drive forO/P. Comp Cams kit with cam-lifters-timing chain-pushrods Cam Specs: 224/230 @50 duration . 477/. 480 Lift 110 Lobe center degreed in all fel-pro race gaskets used in engine. Engine yields 9. 7:1 static compression ratio Heads: Vortec heads w/ 5 angle valve grind. surfaced. ported & polished runners. new valve guides. seats. and seals. Comp cams . 525 lift valve springs. locks. retainers to match cam. comp cams 1. 5 ratio roller tip rockers w/ adjusting nuts. new head boltsInduction: Holley street dominator port matched to intake ports on cyl heads. Holley 670cfm vacuum secondary carb-tuned to engine. MSD HEI distributer curved to match camshaft performance. Transmission – Rebuilt (by Metro Transmission in Woodland. WA) 700R4 with overdrive. Shift kit and 2200 stall converter. This is one the nicest cruisers I have ever driven. Goes great with the 373 gears! Under warranty. Brakes/Suspension - New Disc Brake Kit SSBC in front with rebuilt control arms and Power Booster for great stopping power. New Master Brake Cylinder with disc/drum proportioning valve. Also new 2" drop spindles. springs. rebuilt upper and lower control arms/bushings. upgraded 1” sway bar. steering tie rods/idle arm/pitman arm. multi-leaf rear springs. all new shocks. Rear Axle - Completely Rebuilt (by Metro Transmission in Woodland. WA) rear end. NewAuburn Possi-trak with 373 gears. new 31 spline axles. new Timkin bearings. Under warrantyExhaust – Ceramic coated headers. 14” Magnaflow mufflers. 2 ½ inch exhaust with crossover. Interior - All new interior. Pro Car 90 bucket seats that are fully adjustable and slide track that are very comfortable. Painted dash body color. New dash pad. Grant steering wheel. headliner. carpet kit. mirrors. 3 point seatbelts. GM Tilt Column. and much more. Wheels/Tires - MB Old School aluminum 17x8 front and 17x9. 5 rear wheels with new BFG tires that grip the road. Stereo/Alarm - New installed Alarm System by Audio Source and Amp/Sub/2-6x9s I can promise you it drives as nice as it looks. The steering is very tight unlike many classics and the car fires right up and sounds great! Trust me I don’t want to sell this car because it’s my favorite driver. but I need the money to fund a 1969 Roadrunner built.
