Description of 1971 Chevrolet C-10 |
Driver quality. Some nicks and blemishes. 44 year old truck normal wear and tear. Good Solid Truck. Same owner since 1978. Truck appears to have all original body panels. This truck was recently purchased from an estate sale and has been sitting for two years. All of the old fuel was drained and put new fuel with additive to help clean the system. Previous owner installed a 1996 5. 7 liter Vortec engine and over drive transmission out of a 1996 4X4 truck. Mileage unknown. Truck runs but has not been driven on the road as the tires are old and weather checked. DMV papers are current and no back fees owed and a clean title. After market Power windows Passenger side not working well. it will need to be addressed as well as the turn signal indicator and horn. After market Billet steering wheel. Horn Not functioning. I recommend buyer of this truck have some knowledge of older vehicles. It will require some tinkering. This is an A/C truck however not currently working. I am currently looking into having the A/C working by end of auction but no guarantee. Needs tires as it will need to be trailered. Tires hold air but not road safe. See photo of paint bubbling by roof rain gutter. Solid rockers. and floors. VERY SOLID California truck. This a used truck which has nicks. scratches blemishes Etc. This is not a show truck. Driver quality paint on a straight body. Hidden hitch behind license plate. Power steering. Front disc brakes. leaf spring rear end. 12 bolt rear end Non-Posi. I drove it on the frontage road and 1/4 mile and things seemed to be functioning correctly. |
