1955 Chevrolet 1/2Ton Big-Window Pick-up This is a great foundation for a great hotrod or streetrod project. it is also complete enough to restore! Either way. this classic Chevrolet Big-Window pickup will look cool no matter how you choose to build it! This truck has a clear Montana title and I will also issue a notarized Bill of Sale on official MTDMV Bill of Sale form. It is my intent to represent this truck as well as possible. but I strongly encourage you to take a good look at the multitude of pictures that I have included with the post and feel welcome to ask any questions you feel necessary via the eBay message board. ENGINE/TRANSMISSION/DRIVE-TRAIN: The engine and transmission for this truck are missing. but the drive shaft and rear end are there and in good condition. BODY/SHEET METAL/TRIM/GLASS: The body on this truck is very solid with minimal rust through. IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Although Montana is a seasonal state with cold winters and snow. it is a dry climate and the state DOES NOT use salt on the winter roads. That said. the undercarriage of this truck is VERY SOLID as is the sheet metal. The cab corners need replacing. but this is VERY typical with these trucks and is actually easier/less time/labor intensive to cut out and replace than it is to repair the existing metal. Also. these cab corners are relatively inexpensive - I have found them for sale on eBay and even at one of my local parts suppliers for about $35 per corner. The fenders are very solid and only in need of minor repair. You will notice a small portion of rust through - about the size of a golf ball - on the lower portion of the passenger's side front fender. This is very repairable and would not require an entire lower fender panel. The "eye brow" areas are in good condition. Inner fender wells are solid and in nice condition. The grille is brand new! The hood is from a 1957 Chevy pickup and is in very nice condition. The lower portion of the doors is very solid. The inner step portions of the cab (just inside the doors) are very solid and showing only minor surface rust. The floors themselves are also very solid requiring only minor repair on a small portion of the driver's side floor. The box is in very good condition with the fenders and tailgate also very nice. The wood floor needs total replacement. The truck is missing the front bumper. Windshield and side glass is either missing or in need of replacement. The "big-window" rear glass is included with the truck and is in nice condition! INTERIOR: The interior of this truck is complete and in good condition. The dash is complete and is only missing the radio or radio-delete cover. This truck is being sold in "as-is"/"where-is" condition and no waranty/garantee - written or implied - exists with this vehicle. Transportation of the vehicle is the responsibility of the buyer. Payment in full must be received before the vehicle will be released for transport. Vehicle must be picked up for transport within 30 days of sale unless previous arrangements have been made between the buyer and myself. Cash or Certified Bank Check are the preferred methods of payment as PayPal charges additional fees. For that reason. a 5% service fee will be added to any portion of the transaction the buyer chooses to perform via PayPal.
