| I have owned. restored & maintained this rare low mileage (51320 mi. ). 1951 Chevrolet 5700 2 Ton Cab Over for over 25 years. The truck is ICC compliant and with current Pa. inspection. It was formally owned by the Hercules Electric Co and set up with a large portable generator producing electric while parked long term on job sites. This is why it had only 38. 00 miles on it when I purchased it. This truck has a older cab off restoration with no rust holes but some surface rust on the beltline. Under the cab sit a smooth running rebuilt 235 inline 6 cylinder mated to a 4 speed transmission and 2 speed rear all in good running order with no leaks. Recent improvements included a new master cylinder. rebuilt brake booster. all new brake lines and hoses. rebuilt wheel cylinders. rebuilt updraft carburetor. rebuilt integra manifold. new glass and rebuilt heater system.
