1968 RS/SS ConvertibleThis is a beautiful car which runs, shifts, drives, and sounds great and turns heads everywhere. Very fast! True RS and very likely true SS.SS?---Previous owner mentioned he obtained car with original multi-leaf rear leaf springs and big block front springs which were changed to Hotchkis springs when 383 installed as front was sitting too high. Other than title, I do not have any other original documentation to prove car is original SS. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION-383 Stroker- less than 2000 miles; very nicely dressed top and bottom-Demon carburetor-Turbo 350 transmission-Aluminum radiator with dual electric fan setup-10 bolt Posi- rear end-Multi leaf springs-Hotchkis front springs -Hotchkis bottom convertible cross-member brace-Power steering-Manual drum brakesBODY-NO RUST-Paint is of good quality and still shines great -Floors and trunk pan appear to be original-New electric hide-away light kit (to replace vacuum operated system)-New American Racing Rims with tires >80% tread -Have original Rally rimsUPHOLSTERY-Interior in great shape and intact; nice black color to seats with only tear noted on drivers seat where seat folds forward-not noticeable-Convertible top; Fair condition; (manual) does not leak and back window is clear with no scratches; small tear on drivers side (on outside of window and does not leak)-New Grant wood steering wheel (have original steering wheel)-New center consolePlease call with any questions or for more pix.Albert 954-651-1463
