Here is a perfect example of a 1962 Chevy Impala that is mostly stock. The only upgrades done to the car were for safety purposes and in no way diminishes from the original styling. Upgrades include GM's corvette disc brakes on all for corners and was given a Viair air-ride suspension to provide a ride comparable to a modern day car. Under the hood you will find the original straight six (235ci) motor and two speed power-glide along with power steering. I purchased three piece Cor Wheels, 20inch in the front and 22inch in the rear. The tires are mostly new with approximately 1, 00 miles of local cruising on them (over $5, 00 in this wheel/tire combo alone). The glistening paint is approximately six years old and was painted the original color from Chevy. There are some areas that would stand out in a 100 point car show but for the most part this garage kept classic looks and drives great!
