Up for auction is a 1971 Chevrolet Custom 10 1/2 ton, shortbed stepside. 250 cubic inch, Inline, overhead valve 6 cylinder motor. It is the ORIGINAL drivetrain with the exception of the shifter. It was a column shifter, and was changed into a floor shifter. The drivetrain has very low miles. 21, 72 miles. The truck is believed (not certain) to be a county truck that was won at sn auction by a gentleman, the vehicle was then purchased from that man, privately, by current owner. The vehicle has spent majority of the time in Arizona. There is some rusting to truck bed, and underneath front bumper (underneath where the battery sits, a common area for these trucks). The rockers appear to be rust free, but there is a dent in the passenger rocker. Otherwise minor body damage. Truck runs a little rough but it DOES run and is drivable. There is an minor oil leak as well. This is a great truck but it needs a FULL RESTORATION. The interior isn't completely intacted (see photos) but its ready to go. Its a great project truck. This is a harder to find model for that year. Clean title, ready to be transferred. You must pick up, or can be shipped at buyers expense, open to discuss options. This is a unfinished restoration so there are some parts I have available and am willing to include (can discuss at pick up of vehicle) If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Thanks for looking. Good luck and happy bidding.
