THERE ARE OVER 120 DETAILED PICTURES IF YOU DO NOT SEE THEM SCROLL INSIDE THE TEXT BOX THANKS!You are bidding on an extremely nice running and driving 1964 C2 Corvette Stingray.This beauty was recently ground up restored and was built to drive anywhere. To start off the entire car was stripped and repainted House of Kolor Orion Silver it is a very nice paint job-not perfect but extremely nice. No waves no cracks nice deep shine no orange peel definitely gets compliments. The black stripe on the hood really sets it apart from other Vettes at the shows. The Chrome and stainless were replaced 2 years ago and still look excellent no rust on the bumpers all the trim is polished and looks great all the emblems were replaced including the gas cap cover and all look like new.The entire interior was replaced with the exception of the dash pads that are in great shape. New seats and foam were installed. Restored original gauge cluster everything works with the exception of the AMP gauge because it has a 1-wire alternator and the clock which is common. New headliner new trim new door panels new sill plates all new weatherstrippings new carpet and insulation new shifter. Still has the complete factory jack in the compartment. All the lights work wipers were just all redone and work perfect horn works turn signals etc. Everything was replaced with the exception of the dash pads as mentioned earlier and it still looks like new.The engine is a completely rebuilt 1973 z28 block that was bored .30 over to a 355 with all the goodies. Forged crank shaft pink rods trw pistons. Summit .510 lift camshaft roller rockers 2:02 heads torker intake 600 cfm edelbrock carb. Complete polished belt system with polished water pump and timing cover. Vintage A/C was just installed and still need to be charged. Cooling system was just all replaced with custom built aluminum 4-core radiator and dual electric fans this Corvette does not run hot even in rush hour traffic. Sits around 180 all day long if it even gets that high.Transmission is the original Muncie that was just rebuilt with a centerforce clutch installed and a close ratio shifter. Shifts like butter nice and tight.Rear has the factory 3:55 gears installed and works as it should no funny sounds or noises. All the rear leaf springs and bushing were replaced 2 years ago.The suspension was just about completely redone new shocks recent alignment all the brakes were just rebuilt and it stops excellent.The frame and underneath are super solid no rust or rot. Nice exhaust system that gives it a mean rumble as you are cruising into the shows.Brand new 17" American Racing Chrome Torq-Thrust II wheels were just installed with brand new tires. It rides and handles like a Corvette should.Overall I would say this Stingray is a very nice example perfect for any enthusiast or collector. It was built to be dependable and drive it was driven over 400 miles on cruising the coast twice without any problems. ClearIllinoistitle and tons of receipts and paperwork come with the car.
