Description of 1979 Chevrolet El Camino |
| I purchased this a few months ago thinking the parts would be interchangable with my 77. It is not. I am currently using this for my daily driver. It needs small things but i need money to pay for my 77. It has a crack in the windshield and the gauges dance a little. has a pinhole leak in the power steering main pressure line. 25$ part. it could use shocks but other than that its good to go. The man i purchased it from said that he disabled the AC for gas saving purposes. It has a straight body and very little rust. only small dings. The interior is good to go except for the lower panel passenger side. I have recently changed all the fluids. Replaced Thermostat and flushed the system. I installed new turn signal wiring harness. Tires are good to go. I havent transfered to my name yet but i had the seller fill out his part on the title so its just waiting for your name to appear there. Selling vehicle as is tags just expired a month ago. |
