Description of 1957 Chevrolet Nomad Bel Air

In the past five years the car has been restored pretty much from end to end. It was stripped to bare metal and having no rust each panel was worked to the proper shape. It was primered and shot with Flame red paint clear coated color sanded and buffed. Describing reassembly would take more space than I have here. Let’s just say that it was restored and updated from the halogen head lights to the led tail lights. I will list some of the major items to demonstrate the effort that is in the car. As you can see in the photos it has new tires riding on American Torque Thrust wheels. It has a cross flow aluminum radiator with twin fans. The 383 stroker motor was built by Westech Performance running aluminum heads and Holley Predator Injection. The motor dynode at 452hp and has about two thousand miles on it. It was just converted to an automatic at Hot Rod hall of fame Art Carr’s California Performance transmission. They also installed a Locar gas pedal Hurst shifter side motor mounts and rear cross member. The rear end is a 3:72-1 built by the Diff Man. The dash has new gages lenses and sheet metal. The radio is a 57 Chevy by Retro Radio. It has AM FM USB and aux. Two massive amps under the front seat power two 4X4 speakers two 9X6 speakers and two 12” subs. Interior has been restored using original style and materials. Spare tire well now holds two High output batteries and room for tools and accessories. This is just a quick overview of the high lights; I have receipts an inch thick from Danchuck and speed shops. I know this is a high dollar item for most of us but you only live once make the most of it. Will consider hot rod trades under 25K. No projects please. Feel free to call with questions I love to talk Hot Rods.
