Description of 1964 Chevrolet C-10 Stepside |
Up for Auction we have a extra sharp looking 1964 C 10 Chevy Truck ...... Stepside Shortbed. My husband (who sadly recently passed) purchased this truck in 2005 and at that time the paint job was less than a year old it has been garage kept every since. I don't know a whole lot about the parts of this truck but will do the best I can to describe. I'm pretty sure the engine is a 350 .... it was put in or rebuilt within the 2 years of us purchasing the truck in 2005 and had less than 2000 miles at that time. My husband loved this truck and spent time whenever he could tinkering with it driving it as the show off truck it is and always keeping it washed/waxed .... looking good and driving good. I would guess that we have put less than 8000 total miles on it since we have owned it so I put the mileage at about 10000 total on the rebuilt or replaced engine. The guy that sold us the truck had a story about the paint job and the uniqueness of the professional that painted this one of a kind paint job with the airbrushed tailgate ... he called the color Bowling Ball Marble it is a dark blue with black and swirled .... I hope it shows in the pictures as good as it looks in person. The truck has always been started and let run at least one a month in the last six months .... (I don't drive it) My brother (who is down helping me out) has taken the truck out riding and says it runs great does needs some TLC but runs great. If you look at the pictures I tried to show that the original gas tank that was behind the seats was removed and then replaced in the rear of the truck .... which is the thing that looks like the toolbox actually the top part is a toolbox.I can't remember if my husband did that work or it was like that when we purchased it ... either way it works. The tires will need to be replaced as they are the same one that were on there when we purchased it.Please feel free to ask any question (before bidding) and I will do my best to answer. There is a $1000 deposit within 24 hours of the winning bid (if reserve is meet) and the remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. Buyer is responsible for all shipping and should be picked up within 10 days of auction ending. Payment excepted by bank wire transfer. |
