It is truly a turn key car that looks like it was built yesterday (which is proven by the fact that eight years after being built it was just awarded Outstanding Custom (Best in Class) out of hundreds of customs at Motorama this past February.This gorgeous 1948 Chevy Coupe Custom received a professional frame-off restoration from Carlisle Customs & Classics in 2007 which included over 100 bodymodifications an entirely modernized suspension completely rebuilt LS6 engine and a gorgeous custom interior by All Pro Interiors to make this vehicle into one of the most unique and beautiful street rods on the road today. Since being built the car has been enjoyed by its owner a close customer and friend to Carlisle Customs & Classics who utilized the car for Sunday drives or to take to local and national car shows (where it usually won a top in class award). The car has been professionally maintained since it build by Carlisle Customs & Classics and the car was kept in pristine condition by the owner who kept the car in its own garage and trailered it back and forth to long distance shows. Although the car has been driven and enjoyed for the past eight years you would think it was just built yesterday as the body and paint (even on the chassis) is in impeccable condition the engine chrome and wheels are still bright and without pitting and the interior still looks amazing!This 1948 Chevy is one of the most customized highly awarded late 40s Chevrolets on the road today. The car was fully restored and customized by Carlisle Customs & Classics a highly respected and awarded rod and custom shop and has a beautiful interior from the legendary SteveHolcomb at All Pro Interiors of Knoxville Tennessee. In total this car has over $130K invested in the restoration interior and parts and is a truly one-off custom that could not be replicated or built today for that amount.
