Description of 1967 Chevrolet Corvette |
I bought this car in Scottsdale AZ in 2011 as a good driver with the intent of cleaning it up and making it a good looking reliable car for local car shows but not an NCRS restoration. The car was originally delivered to a dealer in Georgia and from there has lived primarily in Texas and Arizona until I relocated to Portland OR where it's stored in a heated dry garage. From the date codes on the block and heads it appears to be the original engine based on date of manufacture. The engine has an aluminum intake and appears to be an L79 has a new replacement Holley and original style R12 A/C compressor I had rebuilt by Classic Air in Florida late last year (works fine). The interior has been gone through with new Corvette America door panels new carpet and seats rebuilt also by Corvette America with bead blasted and refinished frames new burlap and foam and leather. The clock was rebuilt and the instruments cleaned. The interior wiring harness was replaced. The steering has been upgraded to the Borgeson kit though I still have the original steering box. The suspension has been rebuilt in the past before I acquired the car with new springs shocks control arms etc. The exhaust system is all new Corvette Central with N11 mufflers. The car was repainted in the original Tuxedo Black (two-stage though) late last year. On May-31-15 at 15:56:23 PDT seller added the following information: The vehicle is also for-sale locally in Portland OR in which case the eBay auction will end early. It can be viewed at the PIR Beaches cruise-in on June 3. |
