Description of 1992 Chevrolet Caprice

This 1992 Chevrolet Caprice Wagon is a very clean low mileage original condition vehicle that has been well maintained during my ownership. Being a California vehicle all it's life it has ZERO rust (note pictures). It is equipped with the tow package (however no hitch is included) A/C (blows ice cold) rear facing jump seat dual opening tailgate (folds flat and opens sideways) and power everything (windows dual power seats cruise control door locks electric antenna rear window opener etc). It has been fueled with 91 Octane only and receives oil changes every 5000 miles with Pennzoil Semi-synthetic. It rides smoothly steers straight down the road and brakes confidently with power front disc brakes that we’re completely redone within the last 2500 miles. It's also extremely quiet and passed California smog with ease. The engine is the optional 5.7-liter 350 cu-in V8 that runs perfectly burns no oil and delivers a solid 16 mpg around town and around 23 mpg on the interstate (350 mile range). The 4L60 4-speed automatic transmission also shifts perfectly and doesn't leak a drop. I am the second owner of this wagon purchasing it with 58+++ miles on the odometer. It now has 862++ miles with the majority coming from interstate driving. The interior of this wagon is in very good condition for it's age. I would rate it a solid 8 out of 10. Front and rear seats are extremely comfortable and still offer good support as does the rear facing jump seat. The rear seats also fold flat allowing for cargo space that rivals most pickup trucks. For example a 4'x8' sheet of plywood lies flat. Total seating is 8-passengers (3 up front 3 rear seat 2 rear-facing jump seat). Please note the factory window tint is starting to bubble and peel in some places. The exterior exhibits normal wear and tear for a older wagon with a few small parking lot dings and paint chips but is honestly in outstanding shape. The tires are Kumho Solus KS21 in size 235/70/15 but will need to replaced within the next 3-4 thousand miles or so. Recent service items completed within the last 10000 miles include:- Complete brake job front and rear with full fluid flush new front rotors and pads new master cylinder and reservoir and new shoes (within last 1800 miles)- Front wheel bearings repacked with new seals- New idler arm- Oil change less than 300 miles ago - New water pump- New Thermostat- New Cap / Rotor- New Battery (3 months old)- New fuel pump w/ new fuel filter- Brand new radiator with built in oil/transmission cooler (tow package option)- New Air Conditioning Compressor w/ full flush and refill (blows ICE COLD)- New air filterMechanically this Caprice Wagon needs nothing except a new driver and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it across country at a moments notice. The only items that do need addressing (if you choose) are the rear windows (the track grommets need replacing) and the rear defroster is inoperable.
