Up for sale is my 1978 Malibu Station Wagon I have owned this car for over 5 years. I believe the wagon is rare as it came from the factory with a 4 speed manual transmission; dash has gauges no radio and a posi rear. Well for some reason I decided to change several things a well known performance engine builder in my area was building for himself a 383 stoker motor for his Malibu about 90% into the rebuild he got a great deal on a big block 454 so he decided to sell the 383 which I purchased to install in the wagon believe me no expense was spared building this 383 we estimate it produces 450 plus horse power. The wagon has Hooker Tuned Comp Headers a reworked HT350 Transmission total rebuilt with a 10" loose converter. new 3" driveshaft 12 bolt Moser rear with 390 gears 33 splined axles true trac differential and a line lock. The complete underside of the wagon has been done over new gas tank shocks air bags front & rear control bushings boxed in rear suspension and new tires. This transformation was done two years ago; engine has less than 2000 miles on it. The interior has been completely redone new headliner dash pad seats rugs and door weather seals also included but not installed a new rear bumper. There a small dent on the hood (garage door closed on it) you can see in the pictures. Please note there is noRust on this car body and underside is very clean and straight. To finish this project the car needs to be repainted as the paint is faded in several areas hood & roof. If you have anyquestion don't hesitate to contact me I would be happy to answerer them. The buy it now price will include the 4 speed transmission and all the clutch linkage shift pedals and bell housing.
