Description of 1962 Chevrolet C-10 |
This is a package Deal for Three Trucks. 2 Running plus a donor. I will also consider a partial trade for a Mazda Miata (must be a running car). I will give a value of up to $3000 so I'm not looking for a newer car. 1st Gen Miata probably. I'm selling these trucks for a special project (factory start up actually) that requires a Miata. I would also consider a partial trade for an MGA any year Interested in a restoration candidate in the $6000 range. Okay if floorboards are rusted out but all metal needs to be there and straight metal is best (even if rusted through in spots). 80% complete parts or better.Truck number 1 is a 1962 Longbed C10. It has a 70's mild build 307 in it. The motor has less than 1000 miles since rebuild. Clutch is also near new. Standard drum brakes all rebuilt. We put in a 1992 5 Speed Manual Transmission (speedometer not hooked up because it needs a converter to the original dash). Old school stance did not require any mods to the factory suspension. We also put in a 1992 brake booster. Truck has aggressive braking mostly rears. Needs a proportioning valve. We also installed a serpentine belt system on the 70's motor. down yet. There's a power steering pump on the system ready to modify steering. Not set up for economy mpg with the Edelbrock 600 CFM Performer Carb. Carb has been rebuilt but there is an occasional rich condition that we haven't been able to pin down yet. Check out the cool original chrome spotlight. Clear title - in hand. $6500.00 if purchased individually which I will accommodate. Shipping and transport is the responsibility of the Buyer.Truck number 2 is my favorite. I nicknamed it "Deuces" because of the etchings on the vent windows. The original owner had two of his girlfriends memorialized in lingerie and topless on the vent windows. This truck runs but I haven't spent much time on the mechanicals. I did replace the gas tank with a new one along with new fuel guage sending unit. The motor is not the original; the owner told me he had it swapped for a police cruiser V8 with original 2 barrel carb. This is a 1962 C10 Short Bed Stepside (the bed that's on truck number 1). I moved the stepside bed because I wanted to shorten the fleetside bed of my donor truck and put it on this short bed frame. This truck has clear title - in hand . $6500.00 if purchased individually which I will accommodate. Shipping and transport is the responsibility of the Buyer.Buy both trucks for $11000.00 and I will include this third donor truck (I believe the numbers may match on this one). Locate another bed and you literally have enough for three trucks. Axles are 8 bolt as you can see in the pictures. Truck is 1966 C20 Long Bed (so not all parts will fit on the first two trucks such as doors and windshield - but then you probably already knew that) with appears to be the original 327 V8. This third truck also has clear title - in hand. Shipping and transport is the responsibility of the Buyer.Trucks are for sale locally and I reserve the right. to cancel this auction if a transacttion is entered into locally Of course if an eBay Buyer buys at my Buy It Now Price before a local sale occurs I will honor that eBay purchase. |
