Have owned this Chevelle for approximately 10 years and have decided to move on to other interest. This car has many upgrades and is an older restoration with many current upgrades. The following list covers the work done during the last 18 months.New tires and shocksRebuilt year correct 1965 396. Motor has the original heads and oil pan. A complete rebuild was done by Pierce automotive of Punta Gorda Fl. And was built to deliver a very honest 400 HP. The rebuild included 30 over bore Procomp cam kit valves Holley 750 carb hedman headers.Flow master exhaust systemRebuilt 700r4 overdrive bullet proof transmission with manual OD switch. New 2600 stall torque converterNew u joints and a new Eaton Posi Traction unit with new Richmond 355:1 gears.Run Cool aluminum Radiator with dual electric fansRebuilt quick ratio steering gear box and power steering pump.Lots of new chrome.This is a very nice car that goes down the road nice and smoothlooks great turns head everywhere and is a trophy winner.The doors hood and trunk open and close as they should.
