Description of 1962 Chevrolet Other Wagon |
All up for auction is my 62 Biscayne Wagon. I purchased the car about 3 years ago from a guy's farm in small town Colorado and begin updating the "big" items (i.e. brakes suspension motor). The car was purchased and has spent most of it's life in Colorado from what I know. This is an original V8 car (VIN) and have had it garaged since the day I owned it. I have recently moved from Colorado to North Dakota and brought the car with me. I am looking to sell to begin work on other projects. This is truly a great car with a ton of character and looks perfect going down the road. 1962 Chevy Biscayne Wagon Motor: 76' 2 bolt 350 from an Impala - Just recently rebuilt - New 4 barrel Edelbrock intake - Rebuilt Holley 600 cfm carb - Finned valve covers - New water pump - New starter - New Alternator - New Holley electric fuel pump - Iskedarian cam (mild lift) Transmission: TH350 3spd automatic - Recently resealed Suspension: - 2" drop spindle in front - New struts - Lowered 3" springs in rear (have originals too) - New air shocks Brakes: - Drums in rear - Slotted disc conversion in front - New master cylinder - New brake booster - New brake lines Body: - Satin black paint on main body (painted by previous owner) - "Monster" green with silver flake on roof (painted by previous owner) - Shaved firewall (heater blower assembly removed) - Shaved wiper holes in cowl Interior: - Refinished in black cloth by previous owner - Needs kick panels installed (have templates) Tires: (New) - Wide white walls - BF Goodrich Silvertown Radial in Front - Coker Classics in Rear Needs finished: - Windshield replaced The Biscayne is a great driver with plenty of show for the road. There is a little typical to for this car rust on the rocker panels along with a few chips/scratches in the paint. Whoever purchases the car has many options to provide their touch to this classic. Fix the rocker panels and throw the shiny paint on and a make a few bucks or drive it like it is and get all of the heads turning your way either way you won't be disappointed. Enjoy!
