Original seat interior with repairs done with original fabric and vinyl. Front and rear seats need repair (please see photos for visual). Original carpet in good condition - worn in spots but no holes. Headliner fabric is in good condition with three or four tears ranging from ¼" to 2". Original windshield with antenna inlaid. Small crack in vinyl dash. All 6 sets of seats belts intact. Gauge on steering column fails to indicate what gear transmission is in. Age shows itself on windows seals. Vinyl arm rests are very brittle. Vinyl contains cracks/breaks around both ashtrays and on passenger side along and below the seat. This car has an issue that is common among Chevelles that being the infamous rear window leak. Issue was inherited which is rust developing along lower rear window caused from water leaking around seals (see photos for visual). Minimized driving in the rain to suspend rust damage. This is the only rust of any significance on the car. The floor boards are solid trunk is clean too (see photo for visual). Fenders are in good condition but have pitting. Body condition is good except for an inherited dent on passenger side (see photos for visual) that should be a clean bump out. Motor runs good but could use a tune-up as it is running rich with some hesitation accelerating from a stop position which has arisen when a tune-up is due. Service the car could use in the short term: New tires. Tune-up including potential carburetor rebuild front brake work including repack bearings. Hopefully the above description and attached photos paint a clear enough picture for you of the car. Remember it is 44 years old. As with car of this age it has developed wear and tear from use and age. Overall it is in good condition. It has a solid base and with some vision and effort it has great potential to be restored original without much considering it has never been changed from its original glory days. Or PERFECT street rod project. Excellent base that isn't rusted. You are bidding on an original mileage (under 100k) one family owned car.
