1955 Chevrolet bel air convertible. 265 V8 three speed with overdrive. This is a totally unrestored car that has been repainted once in the 90's by the 2nd owner.I purchased the car from the 2nd owner who claimed that the car had 20100 original miles on it when he purchased in 1983 from the original owners who bought the car new atFerhman Chevrolet in Tampa FL and that the original owners were the Ringling Brothers who purchased the car for his wife to use and was never used much since they were always traveling with the circus it currently shows 20400 miles on the odometer but I cannot guarantee that this story is correct but the car sure does show it is very likely. This car in outstanding condition for acarthat has not been restored and would be considered a very high quality driver. It is completely original except that I added an original4 barrel intake and carburetor to improve the quality and drivability and the overdrive transmission. This car could be driven anywhere in the country without concern. It isrust freeand very solid except for 2 places. #1 there is a small spot of rust startingon lower driver side door less than the size of a dime. #2 there is also a small rust spot on the rear driver side floor pan about the size of an egg. The entire rest of the car is 100% rust free. The convertible top is in really nice shape and it looks like the original rubber floor mat was replaced with a carpet by the second owner. This is an outstanding car and you won't be disappointed. Please feel free to call me with any questions or concerns at 610-751-4781. This car is for sale locally and we reserve the right to end this auction at any time.
