Description of 1970 Chevrolet Camaro Tribute |
***THIS VEHICLE IS IN SOUTH CAROLINA "ZIP 29704" Read Description***This vehicle was listed last week and Ebay erased the photos. I had to start the process over. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Happy Bidding!!!1970 Chevrolet Camaro Tribute with GM crate 350 cubic inch motor. This car was purchased in Oregon from a family that was in the middle of restoration. The owner started with the drivetrain and put in a new 350 crate motor and used the recommended equipment to include headers and the Edelbrock carb along with the GM highrise manifold. I was told the motor is the 330 hp version and the car runs strong and quick. The transmission is a 3 speed automatic floor shift. The console is NOT in the car but the shifter works fine. He put in carpet and seats. The interior is Blue and Black. There is NO headliner. I do have the molding and some parts to install a new headliner. The previous owner became ill and stopped work on the car after getting the drivetrain and part of interior complete. He passed away and thats when we purchased the car. Drives and runs as it should but the cosmetics were never finished. We drove the car as you see it in the pictures. Body has rust in the usual spots. lower fenders and some on other areas. The paint is older and there was previous damage on the drivers side rear quarter panel. The paint is oxidized and there are cracks which I assume is bondo (see pictures) Like I said we drove the car as it is and intended to finish the restore but have now moved to South Carolina and we dont have the space. Headers with 3 inch exhaust. Nice alloy wheels and also a new set of 16x8 Rally wheels made by Specialty Wheel of Portland when they were still at that facility. Drives straight and shifts as it should. The brakes need to be bled but work. Really a great start for someone. This is a car that we called a 10 footer. Turns heads as it is but when fully restored will be a great collector car. I rinsed it off for the pictures. They are a good representation of the car. Tires are good and will go right onto the Rally wheels if that is your preference. Also have the lower rocker panel moldings in package. Car is quick! Electric fan that works good set at 200 degrees. Clear Oregon title. Ask questions. Sold AS IS. Car in zip code 29704. (Catawba South Carolina) Buyer to handle ALL shipping. $1000.00 Paypal deposit within 24 hours of auction close. Balance due by certified cashiers check within 3 days. Will not ship until funds clear bank. If you have negative feedback or less than 10 feedback contact before bidding. Car is really a pretty cool car. Keep in mind it needs work but looks better than a lot of them I see on Ebay. |
