This is a 4 door 1953 210 that I purchased and then drove from Nebraska. Two doors in the front, and another two doors in the back. Carry more friends that way! It rides drives steers starts and stops really nice! All the original stuff. 6 volt all working. Original tube radio not working but powers up. Interior is nice original no major defects just a bit of normal wear and age but seats are not cut and no springs sticking out. Headliner all there no cuts or tears but aged and brown. A lot of work is just done for you. Recent or new full lube and zerk fittings.Four new shock absorbers. Brake Master cylinder is expensive and is BRAND NEW, Brakes bled. Carb and fuel pump are new.Distributor points are new. All lights interior or exterior are working well. All glassis decent or perfect, all windows roll up and down as they should. This car has ORIGINAL OWNERpaperwork and owners manuals from 1953. This can be a nice daily driver for someone. There has been no attempt to hot rodthis car in the last 62 years. It is original other than it does have a newer 235 engine with much better internal oiling (installed by Chevrolet dealer). Paint wear evident where driver arm had rested on the door while driving! Paint is not perfect after 62 years and some touch ups. Rust is very minimal to rear fender lip only. Trunk and floor pan no issues. The bumper chrome had surface rust now covered with epoxy silver coating that looks good and can be removedif you decide to chrome plate. Engine compartment is lightly detailed and looks fantastic. Issues are fuel gage is not accurate but it does indicate, tail pipe is real bad. If you are lookingfor a better than average 53 driver this may be a good purchase for you. Many 53's have been sitting in a field or have had rodent damage to interiors. This one was literally in a barn with no issues. Tires are lo mileage perfect condition but are have old date stamp on them.Yes it has potential to be driven away but sale is as-is.These will not go down in value one cent. Four door cars are not bad and the back seat is huge! If you have never driven a 53 Chevy these drive real nice and feel solid. Steering is firm at low speeds due to no PS but the large steering wheels makes a breeze of turning so it feels unique. Shifts are silky smooth with three speeds easy to learn and easy to drive. While driving you have a great view of the hood and round fenders very cool. Car has a traffic light viewer so you can see what color the traffic lights are without leaning foreword to look out the windshield. Dual horns sound real 50's and real American car sound. Ihave a few spare parts and some new tubes and vibrators for the radio thatI have not installed yet. Good luck bidding!
