I am offering my 1926 Chrysler Phaeton for sale. I have not seen another one of these other than one on youtube.I can't even find pictures of one, xtremly rare and in very nice shape.This is basically a Garage find(I guess like a barn find only better). A nurse that works for my Doctor has told me about this car for 5 years and last fall decided to sell it to me. Wow what a car.Her husband did a frame off restoration about 30 years ago and had an accedent and passed away before he could even license it, o it sat in the back of the garage with a cover on it.When I bought it the white walls were yellow, he bright work was tarnished and it had 26 to 30 years worth of old gas in it.It had the fuel system cleaned and the gas tank boiled and coated, as new rubber brake lines and new seals in the wheel cylinders. Oh ya it has hydraulic brakes and a 6 cylinder engine. Model G70.It looks brand new underneath and the body is in great condition, here are some minor scratches and a couple of chips in the right rear fender.This baby starts right up and drives great, till trying to make it stop a little better, think I need to pull the brake bshoes and get new linnings on them.(I will do this).The gauges work except for the fuel gauge, t is missing the fitting to put it on the back of the gauge, nd the speedo does not work and I have not looked at it yet..All the lights work and so does the horn.Beautiful wood spoke wheels, lso the hood is kind of orange pilled but is not terrible.This is an awesome looking car!!!Call with questions Ron801-971-4601Selling with a bill of sale only.I would love to keep this car but I am going to be loosing my storage
