I purchased this carin Los AnglesCalifornia in 2012 and had it shipped to my winter residence in Florida from where I then transported it to my summer residence in Ontario Canada. It iscurrently registered in a small town in Ontario about 1 1/2 hours from Port Huron Michigan . This car can simply be brought back homeinto the U.S.A. with no applicableborder crossing duties or any complicationsssince it was originally manufacturedin the U.S.A.at the Chryslerplantin Detroit Mich.

As is typical of many California vintage cars, his car is extremely clean, nd totally rust free, ith fantastic original chrome, ut the interior fabrics had all dried out with many split seams, o it wasreplaced withNEW VINYL UPHOLSTERY INCLUDING NEW DASH PAD, OOR PANELS, EAR PANELS, UNVISORS,ANDNEW RED CONVERTIBLE TOP BOOT.The WHITE CONVERTIBLE TOP ISALSO NEWINCLUDING NEW GLASS BACK WINDOW.I own several other show quality classic cars with perfect paint. However, nbsp;I was always very comfortable with the existing paint on this car whichstill shows very nice but does have some nicks and you can tell that the hood and trunk lid have been exposed to the California sun which I just love just the way it is, nd never felt the need to change it.

This 1968 Chrysler Newport convertible has several factory options. The original radio was upgraded to a new in-dash, VC AM/FM Stereo CD player combo, or a more pleasant sound experience. The original factory radio will be included with the car.

This is a very special car that is highly detailed, ith a stunning color combination. The steering wheel has no cracks. All the lights work including the back-up lights, ide marker lights, nd the chrome signal lights mounted on the topsidecorners of each front fender.Note also how the optional 15" rallye wheels compliment the appearance ofthis car, nd with the new 235 75R X 15"radial tires, eally improves the ride and handlingover most other 68 Chryslers which came standard with only 14" wheels which look really silly on a car this size.

From a mechanical perspective, his car runs, rives and stops excellent. Theengine does not smoke or use oil and has no overheating problems when driven on hot days.
