Description of 1955 Chrysler New Yorker

This stunning example waslovingly restored bysomeone who's dad owned this same model car. The color combination of both the exterior and interior is one of the cars mostimportant qualities. Many NOS parts have been purchased for the restoration including badges, hrome, heet metal and many mechanical parts as well. I have never seen a 55 New Yorker St. Regis that looks this good.
The car also runs excellently. Shiftsnice and has great power on the road. I had the gasgauge repaired and allgauges and lights are working properly. Power brake unit and power steeringbox werebothrebuilt. Generator, arburetor, tarter anddistributor allrebuilt. Entire brake system was also redone. Over $3500 was spent at Paul's Chrome to redo the chrome. New vinylinteriorincludes seats, eadliner and door panels. New carpeting as well.
Now, his car is not perfect. There is a crack in the chrome on the front. A few paint chips on thefront. The radio does not work. The spotlights are new but do not work because they are 12 volt and it is a 6 volt car. The heater core does not have hoses. The car really does drive nice and looks excellent but it is not perfect. A great job wasdone on the restoration but if you nit pick every detail you will find a few flaws.
I am glad to have you come and drive the car and I can provide more pictures if you desire. I can also be reached at 301 908 9450 if you have any questions. Iwill be glad to help arrange shipping from the Port ofBaltimore if you are a foreign buyer. I can also help arrange shipping anywhere in the US.
This is a great example of a 1955Chrysler New Yorker St. Regis. Over $30,000 was spent on the restoration. A very original car.
