Description of 1948 Chrysler Other

A true barn find. I bought this because of the straight body and unique rare style. this car has original six cylinder engine and transmission. nbsp; I have not tried to turn over or start. planned to install Hemi so no need. original radiator is in great shape. There is very minimal floor rust under passenger seat area. the trunk and other floors are extremely solid. I have had this car for five years after buying from barn where it sat for over twenty five years. I removed the fabric from seats so the pack rats and mice would move out. the car needs complete restoration. but is an excellent rod project. plenty of room for large engine. I shot some epoxy primer to preserve body and it is due for another coat soon. nbsp; I purchased over three thousand dollars of NOS trim. have several eye brow trim for fenders. grill pieces. a very rare pair of NOS swan outside mirrors. NOS rocker trim. sun visor and other parts. this is a perfect project for a fat man from kit. nine inch rear end and new style hemi. nbsp; all stainless in great shape. all parts are there. very rare car. you will be the only one at car show with one of these.
