Description of 1928 Chrysler Other

This car restored in the 1950's and shown in Kalamazoo, I in 1963. It was bought in Michigan in 2006 needing engine repairs due to long term storage for a number of years. It is now located in Tucson, Z
The engine has been rebuilt with new std. pistons and rings, alves reground, iming chain replaced, il pump rebuilt. The crankshaft is std with original insert and main bearings. Clearances meet industry specs. Correct carburetor was located and rebuilt, istributor cleaned and serviced. Generator and starter cleaned and serviced. Exhaust system pending.
All wheel cylinders and master cylinder have been sleeved and rebuilt by White Post Restoration. The brake bands showed no sign of prior use. Tires and tubes are new and the wooden spoke wheels are in excellent condition. Rear axle seals have been updated to a modern style neoprene.
This car was rescued from barn storage and put back on the road as a stock driver. It is not a points restoration but it has potential. The paint is from the original restoration and while chipped still looks good. The body is solid with no dents or damage other than very minor rust issues on the passenger door. All uninstalled parts and original manual will go with the car.
