Description of 1971 Chrysler Imperial LeBaron |
1971 Imperial LeBaron 4dr HT Veryclean Southern California and Arizona car. It's a 4 door hardtop, 2 Glacial blue outside and B9 dark blue leather inside, hite vinyl top. Very pretty car! 100% rust free! No rot on this baby anywhere. Trunk floor still has paint on it. 118k original miles! The 440 engine runs with no smoke or knocking. The car has the Mopar electronic ignition conversion, 27 auto shifts well, ower disk brakes, ower windows and power vents, ower driver and passenger seat, ruise control, actory AM/FM 8 track radio and tilt/telescopic column. The exterior paint is faded and the vinyl top needs redone. The interior shows very little wear. Some rub marks on the driver seat from getting in and out of the car and a small heal hole in the carpet. Nice everything else including dash pad and headliner. The car runs well on a 1 gallon auxiliary tank but needs the original gas tank dropped and cleaned out. The carburetor needs rebuilt as the accelerator pump circuit doesn't work. It's still the original Carter AFB or AVS. The car runs well enough to get onto a trailer or transport. This car has sat for the past 8+ years. Most of the electrical stuff seems to work but some of it is slow. Probably need some lube and connections cleaned. All in all this is a super solid car that just needs a little love and a paint job to look great again. I can store the car for as long as the buyer needs. No zero feedback bidders unless you contact me first. If you have questions about the car, mail me your phone number and I'll call you. |
