Dream Car Autohaus is offering for sale this truly rare 1931 Chrysler CM6 roadster. Finished in beige brown with brown interior this CM6 has been well preserved throughout its entire life and is being offered for the first time in many years. his is a running driving car that needs just a little TLC to make it even more beautiful than i already is. The car had been restored some 30 years ago and as you will see in the pictures the paint is starting to peel in some areas. This car has been garage kept its entire life and has been driven for parade events within the last several years. The CM6 roadster you see here is one of over 1400 every produced. The car has the silver dome 217.4 inline six cylinder engine with a 3 speed manual gear hydraulic brakes and rumble seat. Overall the condition of the car is very good with some areas needing attention as you can see from the photos. The car has the original engine and transmission, orange wire wheels and period correct trunk. The top is functional as is the rumble seat. The underneath of the car is solid with no rust or rot, the floors are solid and the car runs and drives nicely. The CM6 has turn signals as well as headlight and brake lights and dual spare wheels with mounted side view mirrors. The original silver dome engine produces 70 horsepower and the only item i understand has been changed is the carburetor which was originally a stromburg and is now a carter. The mileage on the odometer is from the time the engine was rebuilt which was roughly 12 years ago. This is a beautiful car that needs very little. Pictures truly do not do this classic any justice!
