Here is a pretty decent and seldom seen 1966 Chrysler Newport convertible. Get 5 of your buddies and go cruising in this baby. The 383 V-8 runs well and the brakes are good. Could use a fresh tuneup. The body of this big boat is very good and the yellow paint does shine. Stainless trim is OK. Some pitting on the rear taillight bezels. Good grill. Decent radials and spoke hubcaps. This land yacht rides smoothly. Seats are comfortable. Power seat not working. Everything else on this baby works except the cigarette lighter (you shouldn't smoke anyway). The power top works well. The black top and plastic rear window are in decent condition. The hood, doors, and trunk lid open and shut nicely. Good solid front and rear bumpers are included to replace the silver painted ones. The underside of this cruiser is really quite decent also as you can see in the many underside photos. Manual windows. Headlights and turn signals work. All gauges work including the "cold" sensor that tells you the big 383 is still not warmed up yet. The radio and map light work. Heat and defrost work. Speedo works. Fuel gauge works. Use premium fuel. The 383 runs a lot better on premium (91). Go comfort cruising with a group in this big, long, yellow boat and be seen. Please feel free to ask questions. Car is sold in as-is condition. Inspection is available.
