Description of 1983 Chrysler LeBaron

THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! This is a blast from the past! A real 80's statement! 1983 Chrysler Le Baron Convertible! We are selling this for a friend who is moving. He purchased this a few years ago from original owner with the intention of giving it to his granddaughter. Apparently she didn't want it so it's been in storage since. It does have a clear title. current registration and it has just passed California Smog Inspection (1-12-15)! CarFax (dated 10-7-2014) indicated that it was regularly maintained and has had no accidents. Body is sound. Paint has some crinkling on the hood. see photos but the body appears very sound otherwise. The convertible top. boot cover and rear window are in great condition. This car has only 59. 45 miles on it! the larger 2. 6 liter. 4 cylinder. Automatic transmission. front wheel drive. power windows. power steering. power brakes. It doesn't appear to have any leaks. Comes with Owners Manual. spare tire and jack. This vehicle is a used 32 years old car and is being sold as is. It runs but could be a great project car! There are some issues that we are aware of ( we only drove this about 30 miles): a/c. heater. defroster are not working. nor is the radio (maybe a fuse? maybe something else). It needs tires. as rear are cracking. It has a new carburetor and battery looks relatively new. The upholstery is cracking but not torn. The instrument lights don't appear to work (again. maybe just a fuse?) Lights. horn. turn signals all function fine. did not test cruise control. The speedometer is actually a little pessimistic (indicates 50mph when the radar trap indicates about 60 mph). The annoying voice prompt still works fine. unfortunately. We try to accurately describe the shortcomings. but look at the photos and ask questions before bidding. This will make a VERY cool daily driver. drop the top and cruise!
