Description of 1975 Chrysler Cordoba Standard |
Clean Title in hand No tickets or back fees. Car is on non op. $89 +tax and transfer fee to make current in CA. Runs and drives Original 360ci V8 Power steering, Power Brakes, Air Conditioning Rebuilt Torqueflight 727 transmission @ $1600 - Less than 200 miles ago Recored Radiator - Less than 200 miles ago Rebuilt Carburetor - Less than 200 miles ago New Mopar Ignition module - Less than 200 miles ago Full tune up - Less than 200 miles ago All new vacuum lines New Battery Car was purchased in 2014 with the intention of fixing what was needed while being a daily driver. The next year, the owner received a small fuel-efficient car from a relative, so some major things were taken care of on the Cordoba and it has been started up regularly since then. Body is straight with very few dings and minor rust spots, the only more serious one is a hole a few inches in diameter on a flat piece of metal on the back passenger side. The floorboards and wheel well are solid and rust free, I can take pictures for those who are seriously interested in the car. The left rear tail light lens needs to be secured as it is loose. Paint is in good shape, but clear coat is starting to peel. It is overall pretty presentable and I believe it is a repaint of the original color. The vinyl top will need replacement, if desired (or just paint the whole car). As they are notorious for harboring rust, we have inspected and pushed in all over the top and typical problem spots and there doesn't seem to be anything hidden underneath. Glass is all clean and uncracked. Interior was reupholstered at some point. Seats and headliner are in good shape, no rips, not much wear. There are two sets of door panels, one that came with the car that match the seats and a set of original panels with the Cordoba script. Carpets will need to be replaced and dash has a couple cracks. Carpet is a little dirty and worn, but it could still be used if it is cleaned and some floor mats are put in. The plastic lenses to the rear interior lights are missing. Mechanicals are in good shape overall, car seems to idle pretty smoothly once warmed up and brakes and shifts well. No noises from the power steering, it operates smoothly and quietly. Electricals will need some attention. Headlights, tail lights, turn signals, horn, dashboardinterior lights, cigarette lighter all work fine (The turn signal indicator that the driver can see on the top of the fender doesn't work on the left side, but the main turn signals work ok). The radio and the blower motor seem inoperative. Not sure what is wrong. All the trim for the car is included, the strips that go around the quarter windows were taken off so they didn't fall off while driving. All tires will need to be replaced before any long trip. The ones on it are old and cracked, good for local driving on surface streets. Carburetor was rebuilt, but needs to be finished being set up. Car will run and drive, but runs a bit rich and a little rough (not bad) when cold. Air Conditioning is all there, but is not working. Parking brake cable is broken, a new one will be included with the car. Key to the trunk was never received from previous owner. Trunk can be accessed by removing the rear seat.
