1946 Chrysler Town and Country Convertible. True Colorado barn find of one of these beauties. This is a complete unrestored original car that was last registered to drive in 1960. The body on this car is very solid. There isn’t anything more than minor surface rust anywhere on the exterior of the body. There is a dent on the right front and right rear fenders. All of the mouldings, emblems, hood ornament, etc. are on the car. Must are in very good condition. The grille is pitted and cracked in one area. Taillights and decklid hinges are pitted. Bumpers are only fair, but certainly rechromeable core. I did not pull the carpet, but the inspection of the undercarriage did not show any rust through or weak spots in the floor pan. The trunk floor has heavy surface rust but no rust through. The wood is all there but obvious needs to be replaced. The interior is complete and items such as the instrument cluster, dash controls, courtesy lights are in excellent condition. The drivetrain is complete and the engine turns freely. The serial number is 7400907. Information on the data plate is model 393 body 3 paint 9 trim 42 the line below that reads 3 1.76 1509 body 1912. Undercarriage photos are available upon request. Clean Colorado title. We can find transportation anywhere. Call Richard at 719-338-1053 with any questions.
