Description of 1967 Chrysler 300 440 & 727, Luxurious Hot Rod, Daily Driver |
Hi Everyone, thanks for checking out my listing. This is a nice car that the previous owner put a ton of money in and I made a bit better. It drives very nice for its age. I'm selling because I need the garage space. This great car is up with no reserve so please ask all your questions before you bid and win. I have a shipper and can easily get you a quote. Internationalbuyer's please ask me first and have your own shipping arrangements. Call or write with your questions. I'm happy to help. Jad, 973 517 3909 The Good I bought this car from a California man who had it restored for his wife. I have period California plates that I assume were originally on the car. They're dated 1963. Clean clear NJ title in my name. Previous owner had the interior recovered, dash-pad, package-tray and other bits repainted. New includes: headliner, carpet, door panels, seat covers, armrests. All lights work but have quirks. All instrument lights work but are dim. All the gauges work accurately. All the exterior lights work. Headlights, high-beams, brake-lights, signals, all working. There's a new radio with CD player & Bluetooth, and new speaker that sounds great. Previous owner installed new Edelbrock intake manifold, Edelbrock carburetor & chromed valve & air filter covers. Also had most of the front-end suspension replaced so the tie-rods & ball-joints are fresh & tight. Also installed air-shocks in rear and had wheel alignment done so car drives pretty straight. Previous owner had it repainted in a nice off white. It's a pretty good job because all the hard to get to areas have a nice coat of paint & clear coat including underside of hood & trunk lids. Also the back sides of the doors & door-jambs. Previous owner installed new TTI 3" exhaust system that sounds great. Also new rims & tires. I had the following work done: new cam-shaft, lifters, push-rods, alternator & belt, voltage regulator, fuel pump & push-rod. Also replaced strut-rod bushings. All these components have about 1,000 miles on them. Have many receipts for all parts & work described. I check the garage floor and fluid levels - no leaks. Heat works great. Never tried the AC but it's all there. Drives very nice for its age and I get tons of thumbs up everywhere I go. If you'd like to take it for a test drive just let me know. I'm happy to go for a spin with you. We can even go for a long drive if you fill her up. She'll go anywhere no problem. The Bad Last owner and I kept her in a garage, which brings me to why I'm selling. I need my garage from my freshly painted 1974 Charger. 4 wheel drum breaks that I wanted to upgrade because there's a slight shimmy when breaking hard on the highway. But it breaks great in town or at 80MPH and has plenty of stopping power. A couple of hard to see bubbles in paint on passenger side. Can send pics if you need them. Glass & weather-striping original, age appropriate wear & tear. Metal floors & frames are rot/rust free except for some patches in the trunk. AC is all there but likely needs work to get it functioning - never tried it. I reserve the right to end the listing early as the car is also for sale locally. If you'd like to take it for a test drive just let me know. |
