The Chrysler Windsor is a full-size car which was built by Chrysler from 1939 through to the 1960s. The final Chrysler Windsor sold in the United States was produced in 1961, but production in Canada continued until 1966.

For the 1961 model year the Chrysler Newport was made the marque's price leader with the Windsor positioned one level above the Newport. Chrysler replaced the Windsor name in 1962 with the introduction of the non-lettered series Chrysler 300 in the USA

FCA Canada was established as Chrysler Canada in June 1925 as successor to Maxwell-Chalmers Motor Company of Canada in Windsor, Ontario. Initially called Chrysler Canada, Ltd, the name of the company changed to DaimlerChrysler Canada Inc. following the merger of the two parent companies in 1998. In 2007, the company was renamed Chrysler Canada Incorporated when Cerberus Capital Management purchased 80.1% of its parent company Chrysler LLC. In 2015, Chrysler Canada Inc. became FCA Canada Inc., after Chrysler LLC reached an agreement to establish a global strategic alliance with Fiat SpA back in 2009.

Historically, Chrysler Canada sold vehicles under the Dodge, Plymouth, Chrysler, DeSoto, Valiant, and Imperial marques. Presently there are six marques: Dodge, Ram, Jeep, and Chrysler, FIAT and Alfa Romeo

This beautiful and ultra rare 1963 Windsor has been a father-son cruiser for the past 15 years and has been well loved and cared for. Always garage stored and kept shiney clean, waxed, maintained and always ready for a Sunday drive or car show. Until recently when situations changed the car has changed hands and is now offered up for sale. This stunning car is ultra rare and is a Canadian only model. Although I have not been able to find the actual production numbers, other factors that make it rare are the fact thatit is a convertible ( I've never seen another ) and it has power steering, power brakes, power top and power windows. It also has the original am / fm radio and has the bench seat with comfortable room for 6 adults to cruise in. It has the original 361 v8 and Chrysler 's 'safety rated' push button automatic transmission.

This Chrysler Windsor starts and runs great. It shifts smooth and is very comfortable to drive . The 361 engine has plenty of power and sounds great with the new dual exhaust. The body is straight and solid and has beautiful paint that is approximately 20 years old. The underside of the car has had some rust repair done in the past. The chrome and bright work on the car shows very well and compliments the Chrysler's unique bodylines. A small trim piece is loose on the left side of the grill. The wire wheels are in excellent shape as are the newer radial tires.

Overall this rare Chrysler convertible is in great shape and has been well cared for and loved. It needs a new home and will give The purchaser many years of enjoyment and pride of ownership.
