In 1982, Chrysler introduced the M-Body large RWD traditional sedan. Once again, the Fifth Avenue package was available on the New Yorker, this time as a $1,244 option. Key features include a distinctive vinyl roof, electroluminescent opera lamps, and a rear fascia adapted from the Dodge Diplomat, Interiors featured button-tufted, pillow-soft seats covered in either Kimberley velvet or Corinthian leather, and featured thicker carpets to boot. For 1984, the package became standard and all cars were simply renamed Fifth Avenue.... All Fifth Avenues featured a 5.2l V8 with either 140hp or 170hp. The interior is luxurious and very comfortable and features powered seats, power windows, power locks, stereo, air conditioned, and plush carpet. The headliner and seats are in great shape and have little wear. Faux wood trim and a crack free dashboard as well as seating for three add to the feeling of comfort. This is a smooth running car and has been with the same family for 7 years. Service work has been performed as needed and thing such as a new battery and starter highlight the car.
