This unique offering is for an Original, 2 owner 1961 CHRYSLER 300G in unrestored, operational condition with a 100% original tan embossed leather interior, perfect dash/instrument cluster and headliner. I will save everyone the usual sales hyperbole surounding this iconic auto. Those of you who are into 60's muscle cars know the 300G and what it stands for. 1280 300Gs WERE BUILT and APPROX. 340 ARE KNOWN TO EXIST TODAY. When I purchased this car in 1972 from the first owner, the odometer displayed approx. 50678 original miles. The accuracy of the ODOMETER display which presently shows only 56,895 miles is supported by the 1972 Title (which is in my name) and numerous Indiana Motor Vehicle Emission testing and registration documents dating from the early 1970's.This vehicle is offered and will be sold in used, as-is condition with a Clear Indiana Title. The original owner's manuals and Chrysler factory build up/assembly document is also included as are Chrysler Shop manuals. It has spent the last 45 years with me being driven in parades, displayed at airshows and occasionally exceeding every posted speed limit on the planet. I just had its wheels stripped, powder coated gloss black and fitted with a brand new set of (correct size as-delivered in 1961 from Chrysler) radial tires. They were constructed to have a classic fluted bias tire look with whitewalls. You get the safety and ride of a radial with the great original look of a bias tire. The original radio with the optional rear speaker is working, as is the optional power antenna and optional rear window defroster. Both original, undamaged embossed leather bucket seats swivel properly. The clock and center console tachometer are both working, as are the power windows, power brakes and power steering. The E-L lighting works intermitently. Original jack, tire tool, wood spare tire wedge and instruction decal in trunk are included. The console aluminum and trim is in amazing condition without all the usual scratches and gouges caused by years of keys and stuff being dropped on it.There is an old rocker repair which was already on the car when purchased. It's on the underside in front of rt. rear wheel well. Similar smaller old repair evidence at same location left side rocker bottom, See photo. Doors, majority of rockers, wheel wells and arches are solid. I have misplaced spare tire so please consider it not included in the sale, however the expression "It's not lost I just don't know where it is" applies. If and when it shows up it goes to the buyer. This caris presently and has always been serviced with leaded fuel and the oil changed annually. This car is available for inspection at the Eagle Creek Airport, Indianapolis, Indiana.Since Ebay only allows for 24 photos, please ask specific questions and I can send you additional pics when I respond. PLEASE CALL 317-590-6772 TO SCHEDULE AN INSPECTION. Thank you
