I present for auction my beautiful 1960 Chrysler Saratoga one of only 4,099 produced. Far fewer in this color combination. You are looking at one of the finest frame-on restorations ever done on aclassic car. You would be hard pressed to find anotheras good a condition as this motor car. You cannot drive down the road without all heads turning, people waving and multiple thumbs up signs as just about everyone stops to stare and appreciate one of Chrysler’s most spectacular motor cars that appears to be ready to launch into the air at any moment. This very raremotor car was being restored to show. However, circumstances have since changed anddue to personal illness this beautiful motor car will not be able to go and win any awards at classic car shows. This1960 Chrysler Saratogais breathtakingly beautiful! This car has the desirable color scheme of Oyster whiteand blue acrylic paint exterior with light blue and dark blue interior accents. It is a highly optioned car loaded with all factory offered features such as power steering,power brakes, factory air-conditioning, (requires charging) new steering wheel with a new old stock horn ring and cap, original Golden Tone radio, (not operation at this time, but overhead light works) and brandnew Diamondback Classic wide whitewalls which while new are not original OEM tires. All body panel gaps, fit and finish are perfect.The badges, emblems and door handles are all in excellent condition.The grill badge in particular is factory original white/black (not red/black) which is to factory specs on this model Saratoga. The factory correctcolor scheme ofOyster whitemulti-layered acrylic lacquer paint has been meticulously and thoroughly hand rubbed resulting in the most exciting combination offered for 1960 Chryslers consisting of beautiful shimmering light & dark blue interior seats, door panels, armrests. This is all set off with spectacularly contrasting new blue cut-pile carpet, seats, a new softly padded dashboard together with new di-electrically embossed silver “record groove†mylar door panel inserts. A newfactory correct headliner with color schemeoff white was also installed with matching off white sun visors and new interior ceiling bezel & lenses. The exterior paint finish isoriginal and although excellent and quite beautiful in it's mirror-like, glass smooth as well as it's deep finish it isn’t Concours perfect. However, if you look long and hard you may find a few very minor imperfections the overallexteriorpaint would still be called excellent it would not meet theextremely highest standards known to classic car collectors as“Concoursâ€.Since her restoration this beautiful motor car has only driven in sunny weather and has only been stored in totally dry climate and controlled conditions.All exterior chrome and stainless trim pieces follow body contours precisely and with perfectly even gaps through-out. The exterior is beautifully complemented by the gorgeous hand-crafted interior using the highest quality NOS throughout. No one has smoked cigarettes or cigars in this car, nor have pets or young children been permitted to enter or ride in it. You would be hard pressed to say the least to find another 1960Chrysler Saratoga4 dr hardtop in this exceptionally excellent condition anywhere in the world. These fine motor cars were made in a new specifically designed manufacturing facility to produce cars at an exceedingly slow assembly line rate which gave workers ample opportunity to make these cars to Chrysler’s highestspecifications.
