Description of 1937 Chrysler Royal |
The Chrysler Royal was an automobile produced by the Chrysler division of the Chrysler Corporation. The Royal name first appeared in 1933 as the model name for the CT series. In 1937 the 6-cylinder powered C-16 series was renamed the Royal. replacing the Chrysler Six. We bought this car as a parts car for our other 1937 Chrysler Royal C-16 which is also listed. The engine ran nicely but it had no brakes so we've never driven it further than in and out of a garage. I wouldn't be able to list every part that is included or not included - please look at the photos. I've been asked what the engine and transmission alone would be if sold separately - guessing half the value since it's nearly impossible to find an original engine and we know it works. |
