We are proud to offer this very rare, one owner, un-restored, all original post war 1948 Chrysler Town & Country Woodie Convertible with no rust issues!

We cleaned the fuel system changed the oil and got this beauty running and driving with very little effort, show it was cherished and well maintained by its owner over the years. I was told by his loving wife that Dan Murphy purchased this car new! He went out to the factory in Michigan and drove this car home to Massachusetts. Dan took extremely good care of this car and was known to use it in wedding and other special occasions! Sadly Dan passed roughly 10 years ago and the car sat idle for roughly 14 years.

This 48 Woodie Convertible has had 1 minor repair to the right front fender. The Chrome work and trim are in excellent condition with some wear & tear. The grill does have some pitting and presents very well. The power top functions very well. It will need 4 tires replace due to age and cracking. Brakes feel good, how ever some pulling when applying is felt. The transmission functions properly. The speedometer cable was found stored in a canister in the trunk.

This vehicle comes with a Massachusetts title. Dan’s widow had his vehicle collection titles redone into her name in 2015.
