Description of 1986 Chrysler New Yorker

Absolutely awesome car that I hate to sell. but I have to because I just picked up a Volare wagon and I really need the versatility of the wagon. '86 Fifth. one of the best running 318's I've ever had. you'd swear it was fuel injected the way it starts and runs. Nice tight shifting tranny. clean fluids. I always change oil every 3000 miles. I use ethanol treatment and octane booster in every tank full. Car shows 39. 00 miles. I have no idea if that's original milage or not. but by the condition of the interior and the way it runs and drives. it could be correct. Car is very straight with just a couple of dings. paint is the extra cost Gunmetal Blue Pearlcoat and the clear has faded off. so it could benefit extremely from a coat of paint. Vinyl top is in very good shape. I keep dressing on it twice a week. Trunk is nice and clean. original jack and spare never used. Under the hood is very clean. I've also done tires. front rotors and pads. and shocks in the past year. The wheel covers are '76 New Yorker caps. and they are very expensive. I think they look much better than the wire wheels on the car. I do not have the original wire wheel covers. so you will get the wheel covers it has on it. unless you don't want them. All receipts and tire warrantys are in the glove box. It could use a new wheel lip molding on the passenger side rear. Chrome metal mud flaps are in good shape. The A/C works extremely well and is R-134. There is a couple of vacuum lines off the back of the heater/ac control unit that are off. and I did not look into that. so it only works on Max A/C until that is fixed. Headliner could stand to be replaced. but it's not too bad yet. I did start refurbishing the interior plastics. as you can see. but I haven't gotten to the rear part yet. Dash pad is mint. and I have a carpeted cover over it to protect it. Seats are perfect. except for one burn in the lower part of the driver's front seat. I keep towels over the bottoms so they don't get dirty. I don't know how the burn got there. we don't smoke. and the ash trays in the car have never even been used. This is really one beautiful running and driving car. Purrs along at 70 on the interstate all day and gets a solid 20 mpg around town or on the highway. Car must be paid for in full within 3 days of the auction's end. and must have a deposit via paypal within 24 hours of the auction's end. Car is currently registered and driven daily.
