1962 Imperial Le Baron Coachwork - DESCRIPTION - 413 engine, pushbutton trans. A.C. power windows, vents, seat,106, 238 miles, one of 1,449 built, Runs, good, drives and stop, licensed and on the road, body work and enamel paint job done 7 years ago, frame, floors and trunk in fairly good cond. most components wor, will need brakes and exhaust gone over to make it a daily driver, some pieces of trim, included put back on, and cleaned and waxed, horn ring, rear letter set and kick panels lost at body shop, but I know where we can get them, I have the tops of the original gray Le Baron door panels in the trunk, This car is not Barrett Jackson or Hershey material, but would make a good car for cruise ins and for parades - HISTORY - been in family nearly 40 years, A previous owner a truck driver here in town bought it for his wife at an auction in N.C. in 1968, And told me it belonged to Cannon Towel Co. and it was chauffer driven, and after trying to find any family of the original owner, I talked to Charles Cannons' grandson last year and [ after seeing pictures of it ] said he remembered driving the car with the bent steering wheel and he thought his grandfather bought it new upon his retirement in 1962. It is a car like Mr. Drysdale had in the first season of the Beverly Hillbillies. These rare, unique, beautiful well built, quality automobiles are getting hard to find since many of them met their fate in many demolition derbies.
