Description of 1947 Chrysler Other Windsor Fluid Drive |
| 1947 Chrysler Windsor Barn Find. It has been sitting in a barn in Giddings Texas since 1989. It has not been touched since. It has a later model Chevrolet 6 cyl with electronic ignition and air conditioning. Chevrolet automatic transmission. Very little rust on the body. One spot in the trunk. Floors look good. This car originally came with a Fluid Drive transmission with a clutch in the floor. It is mostly complete. Some chrome in the trunk. The rear doors open up reverse. (Suicide) I believe they were called client doors. The glass is good and all the doors operate. This cool car would make a great project. |
