Thank you! 1964 CHRYSLER 300 K Please read complete description below It truly is a privilege to offer this rare 300 K letter series Chrysler Convertible. This is a true 300K as defined by the VIN number. The 8 designates a V8 engine 4 is for 300K – 4 is for the model year 1964 and 3 is for the assembly plant Jefferson. MI. It is said that this Chrysler spent its life in California but I do not have a paper trail to prove it likewise the miles show 85101 thought to be correct but will be sold exempt as that is how I received it. There has never been any accident damage repair and I have gone over the body carefully and could not find any filler save for what might have been a skim coat. The paint is beautiful and near Concours quality. All of the trim is beautiful with no issues. The front bumper has been replated. the rear is original with fine scratches in it. All of the glass is superb with the windshield being like new. You will see the triple A sticker on the right corner saying a member of the California State association since 1973. All four of the power window work great and the top goes up and down with ease. The interior is like new with perfect door panels. a beautiful dash and a lovely center console. As you can see the convertible top looks near new with a clear back window. The interior carpet is new and is the correct color as per SMS. The Rally wheels are not correct for this car but sure add to its appearance. I do not have the original wheels or covers. The trunk is all custom and well executed by a high end trip shop. Please notice how nice the undercarriage looks and it has not been detailed. Under the hood you will see a lot of originality including the correct air filter. There are no mechanical issues. However the right side exhaust heat riser leaks slightly when cold. It gets better after a drive. I was told by a local Mopar expert that the engine is correct for the car but I do not know how he had determined that. Markings on the block are V41 – below that is 1 with a space then 7 space HB. I have pictured the build (data plate) and the triple A sticker. This big bold beautiful Chrysler will stop traffic and is real fun to drive.
