Description of 1966 Chrysler 300 Series

1966 Chrysler 300M. nbsp; Chrysler's flagship. the 300. has always been among the most popular early Mopar muscle cars. Originally the 300 was a recognized as a concept car and was heralded as a performance and engineering break through by the writers and critics of the era. The classic mid 60's lines are unmistakable. The styling cues are unique to the era and feature sleek and long lines with many fine details including larger chrome bumpers. larger grill areas and small chrome accents and decorative appointments throughout. The interior design has some lingering art deco styling borrowed from the cars of the late 50's and early 60's. The engineering and technical advancement in these years were dramatic over the new post war cars of the middle and late 1950's. The engines are much larger and more powerful and the suspensions have been tuned to a higher degree making the cars ride a lot smoother. The interiors feature many more creature comforts and options like power brakes and power steering were regularly installed on the larger luxury models. This is a great looking car that has been restored as needed along the way with many recent upgrades including full paint. new upholstery. new wheels and tires. new convertible roof and the brakes have been upgraded to disc brakes PLUS a new Holley 750 carburetor! As well as lots of new mechanical items that make the car run and drive beautifully. Ultra cool car that really moves when you punch it. Ready to be enjoyed by a new owner.
