Description of 1979 Chrysler Newport

This is a 1979 Chrysler Newport 4 door sedan. 318 engine. automatic transmission. It is licensed as an antique vehicle. It has 112193 miles on it. My husband's mother purchased this car in 1980. My husband inherited it after she passed away. He drove it to car cruise ins and car shows the last two years. It is mechanically sound and in very good condition. The interior is in nearly perfect condition-no holes. rips tears or worn places in the seats or door upholstery and the dash has no cracks or breaks in it. There is a small spot of rust on the one fender-see in photo-and there is a small touch up place in one fender-see photo. The windshield wipers DO NOT WORK. It is equipped with factory air-but it DOES NOT WORK-the compressor does not kick in. The trunk is in good shape with no holes in the fender wells on either side. The accessories include a brand new (still in the package) size 5 car cover. 4 tires on wheels with about 6/32 tread. nbsp;an extra spare tire on wheel as well as the one in the trunk. 4 hubcaps. several ignition parts. and a few other spare parts as well-see photos. I am selling this vehicle as is-no warranty and no guarantee on anything. It runs very well. however I would recommend trailering it to your destination as it is an older car and nothing is for certain. I have a clear title in my possession.
