Description of 1956 Citroen Other

1956 2 CV 425cc engine 18hp 6 volt, his particular model was built in Belgium at the Forest factory so it has an upgraded steering, ash and a few extra bright molding trim .it has been revived after a 20 year slumber in a garage. New brakes, aster cylinder, rake hoses, attery, oil, oints, ondenser, park plugs and new correct Michelin tires 125/400. The gas tank was flushed. The car runs and drives.it is used sporadically around my neighborhood but not much more, ever been on the freeway as it is kind of slow. It was a California car at one point; I do not have any history on it. The body and chassis are in good condition and was painted in and out, long time ago, n a 70's metallic green, he original color is vert embrum AC 511 sort of a grey/green. Cloth top needs to be replaced. I have all new rubber seals for the doors, he correct tail lights and more. As a reminder this not a $15000 or more 2 cv, nbsp;it will need a proper restoration or improve it as you drive.I reserve the right to end the auction early as the car is for sale locally.

Here are a few questions I could anticipate and could answer:

2 CV aficionados will notice that the hood is from a newer car (after 1961) I am not sure why. The year comes from the correct chassis tag shown in one of the pictures, o 1956 it is.

Will it make a cross country trip? An 18hp engine, o I need to say more?

Why are you selling it? I have other cars like any car enthusiast and I am restoring another Citroen, will not get to this one in a while and rather sell so somebody could give it proper care

What is the reserve? Bid up to what you feel the car is worth to you, t is the best way to enjoy the auction; sorry I will not divulge the reserve.
