1965 GTO 4 spd, ontero Red convertible survivor. This car is an original Montero Red 4 spd 4 barrel car, ith a correct, ut NOM 65 GTO 389 Tri Power complete motor. I call it a survivor, ecause it is a mostly unrestored, riginal condition type car, ven though it's a non original motor. What better NOM to have in a GTO, han the correct tri power 4 spd motor? This car is an excellent driver....very quick, uns, urns, teers, nd stops exactly as it should. It is a very solid and rust free car, hat came with some great options, nd had others added over the years: Wide ratio 4 spd with original shifter and console, ally one wheels with new repro redline radials...including rally one spare with original Firestone Redline bias plytire with sticker still attached, OM 65 Tri Power WS engine with correct #77 tri power heads, ower Steering, ower Brakes, ower top, ach and Gauge cluster (tach not working, peedo needle needs replaced), M/FM radio works great, nd power antenna. Interior is in great shape, s well as all of the original trim, inus some dents on the rocker mouldings. The car has a new fuel tank, nd new exhaust with chrome splitters. Appears to have hadat least some of thepanelsresprayed some years ago. The car retains what I think is it's original top, n amazingly nice shape. The paint is what I would call good driver condition, ith some minor dings and touchups, ut cleans up nice with a survivor patina and feel to it.
