Questions about these eBay deals? EMAIL ME any time, r call / come see me during my office hours, nd I'll get you all the answers you need. All my contact info is at the bottom of this auction, n the "contact us" section.

We are an RV dealer in the mountains of Western Maryland. You are looking at a non-RV that we took on trade towards an RV. It is a privately-owned unit that was traded in to our dealership - it is NOT something we bought at an auction, t is NOT a repo, t is NOT a salvage piece. We avoid items like those, or the same reason you do - you just don't know what you're getting. But if a customer wants to trade an item like this in, owards an RV purchase...well...equity is equity, nd if we think we can sell it, e'll take it on trade!

I know...it's "early" in the year to talk about snow, ut we all know it's coming. And...THIS is the truck to have when it gets here! I'm a Jeep guy, wn two of them now, nd even driving this one just a short distance I can tell it'll get you where you need to go without a hiccup. It runs great. It starts right up. No noises, o smoke, o nothing, ust fires up like it's a new car. The transmission shifts surprisingly smoothly through all gears, nd the clutch is nice and light. The throttle has a monster return spring on it though - you have to make a point of it when you step on the gas, hat pedal definitely pushes back (if you don't like it...it's a carburetor, wapping the spring is EASY to do)! The brakes work well, ut they're definitely old-school manual drums all around. And...that sums up the whole Jeep, eally. Old-school. Analog. Interactive. This is definitely NOT a brand-new Grand Cherokee - it doesn't insulate you from road bumps, r wind, r noise, r anything like that. It makes you PART of all that, nd that's why they're so much fun!! There's no Nav. No bluetooth. No surround sound, r heated seats, r a/c, r touchscreen stereo. But...that's OK! It's a VERY COOL, eady-to-get-dirty, o-out-and-have-fun CJ. Does it seem like a lot of money for an '83? Not really. Think about how much was put into this one, ebuilding it ALL. Inside and out, op to bottom, ront to back, osmetic and mechanical...it's a "new" '83! You could spend MORE on a brand new Jeep...but this one is so COOL, nd it'll do all the "Jeep stuff" that a new one will do! And, ou have less stuff to break on this one. If something does break, t's easier to troubleshoot and fix (there may be 5 wires on this whole truck...a new one? MILES of wiring, nd a few dozen computers...). This one is...basic. It's functional. It's clean. It's re-done from top to bottom. Clean. Simple. Classic.

The interior is like new. Original gauges...but everything else has been totally redone. Carpet. Seats. Top. Roll bar. Paint. Locking console. It has a tilt steering wheel for easy in/out. The heater will melt your shoes if you want it to! And yes...it's a CJ, t was outside when the remnants of a hurricane dumped 3" of rain on us earlier this week...and the carpet is wet. No big surprise to me. My Jeep? First thing I did was pull the carpet and seats, nd had the whole interior Line-X coated. This CJ is so nice...I'd do the same here if it was mine. Seal up the floors before they have a chance to rust (they're rock-solid right now)! The only thing that stood out inside? No stereo. The dash is cut out for an old-school 2-knob stereo - it has NOT been cut up - but there's nothing there right now. Find yourself an original. Get one of the "vintage" updated stereos with digital internals behind a stock looking faceplate. Whatever your choice...you can decide. Me? I would't bother with a stereo. It's a CJ - they're not exactly quiet when you're driving. Put one in so you have a clock to look at, ut other than that...just enjoy the sound of the Flowmaster exhaust.

Just as pristine as the interior. Arrow-straight tub. Clean, olid frame and floors. Nice aftermarket wheels and big knobby tires (they actually don't sing too bad, ither). A hitch-mounted spare tire holder instead of the tailgate-mount (I like this better, eeps weight off your tailgate hinges). New brake lines and braided hoses. New shocks. Obviously a lift kit...but I don't know what size. 6" maybe? The only flaw outside...some bubbling along the bottom of the windshield frame. The tub, ood, owl, nd fenders look perfect but the bottom edge of the windshield frame support may not have been properly prepped...but that's the worst part about it (and you can see in the photos that it's not horrible). Underhood is nice and clean and organized, nd you can tell they put a lot of care and effort into building this one correctly. And it really does run like a champ - turn the key and it cranks ONE time, nd fires up. I've driven fuel injected vehicles that have a harder start than this one! Part of me almost hopes we still have it, hen the snow falls...this is going to be FUN to drive around in the white stuff!!!

Why do we sell on eBay? Exposure, lain and simple. We want as many people as possible to see our items, o we can sell more of them. What do we sell on eBay? Mainly RV's - we're an RV dealer, nd we sell clear-title, rivate-party trade-ins. BUT - sometimes we trade in non-RV's like this one, towards an RV purchase. If we have a boat, r a motorcycle, r a car or truck in stock...we'll list them too. It's that exposure thing again - we want more people to see our units, o we can (naturally) sell those units! We try really hard not to be a museum...we're here to SELL, ust like eBay shoppers are here to BUY. There's a scrolling gallery on every one of my auction pages that shows all our current listings - we've got a little of everything. Don't see what you're looking for? Email me! I'll see what else we've got in stock that might work for you! Can I sell it to you off eBay? I could...but why? My pricing here is thousands below retail - I've DONE your haggling for you already! You're going to save a TON of cash by buying it here on eBay. It's quick, nd it's easy. There are no surprise fees when you buy it here - for you, r for me. I pay my listing fees when I put an item onine, nd there are no fees when they sell. And if I have to pull an item because of an off-eBay sale...it hurts my seller rating, o we try really hard not to do that. If you like an item I have for sale here on eBay, ou might as well click that Buy It Now button before someone else does! But don't debate your purchase too long - we sold 1,420 RV's last year, he most in our company's 35 year history. That averages out to 5 RV's a day, very business day, all year long. Our lot is packed with customers, ur phones are ringing, ur email inboxes are flooded, eople are looking, people are buying, nd our inventory is rapidly disappearing! Don't miss your opportunity to get the camper you want, or a great price!!
